Register NowSSB Pipeline - Rain Ponchos
In 2014, for the first time, as part of SSB Pipeline you could donate Proudly South African rain ponchos to children who live in high winter-rainfall areas. These are not just any rain ponchos - they have a safety reflective strip to illuminate them on those dark winter mornings and have a special space to cover the school backpack. This all helps to keep the children dry, healthy and in school.
In April 2015, 1710 Proudly South African rain ponchos were delivered to socially vulnerable children living in the Swartland, Stellenbosch and Villiersdorp.
SSB Legacy - First Aid Training
As all operating costs of the Santa Shoebox Project are covered by the Project’s main sponsors, all other donations will contribute towards the SSB Legacy. The funds will be used for skills training of the caregivers at the more than 1000 SSB recipient facilities. The first roll-out will be in 2015 and the skill to be taught will be basic First Aid – benefiting not only the children, but the wider community as well.
